Baby nerite snails?

When my tank was only 2-3 months old, I placed an order with reefcleaners. Needless to say, there were plenty of snails! The nerites that I had received started laying eggs like crazy in my tank.

Well, I chalked up all the babies up to seafood once the eggs started to hatch... Until recently. I have a veritable army of baby nerite snails in my tank. They only come out at night. But, I would venture a guess EASILY into the hundreds maybe into the thousands of these little snails. They are EVERYWHERE when the lights go out.

Does anyone know how long these little guys take to reach a size where they are sellable?

It's possible, I suppose. I had never heard of this species before now. All of them have white shells. Assumed that it was just a stage for a nerite to have a white shell when small.

Any more information on collonistas?

Collonistas stay very small and are nocturnal. They graze the rocks and glass for micro algae. They also reproduce well in our tanks. When very small they typically all white but will develop tan markings as they grow.
