Baby Ocellaris has blk spots

:sad2: Greetings. New to the hobby, have a new RSM 130D, only about 5 mos up and running. New baby Ocellaris, have had approx 3 weeks, been very hardy and active, feeding, etc. Has started nuzzeling in the Zoo rock and also a patch of Starburst Polyps for about the last week. Feeling a little sorry for him since I do not have an anemone. He has since developed several black spots on him, please see pic. I don't know why, and am concerned if this is something detrimental to his health or not. PRDubois suggested asking in this forum. Could the Zoo's or the starburst be stinging him? Or is it something else? My tanks inhabitants are: reef chromis, sixline, yellowhead jawfish, fireshrimp, yumas, floridas, zoos, starburst polyps, one polythoa, one pineapple, one taylor and one taro tree corals. Any ideas and suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I am willing to bet that it is from the Zoas. It looks like, in the second pic, that the host is being hosted by them. Besides the looks of the spots, they are harmless.

I 2nd the coral sting. In time it will most likely go away. If he's eating I wouldnt be to concerned.

I had a pair that had them all over, Mostly from trying to host palys. Took them out and put them into a quaratine tank. The spots went away in a few weeks

I will 4th acoral sting. I've had the same thing happen also.

Thanks a ton for your input about the spots. In light of what you all have indicated, and also due to the little guy eats like a horse, I guess I won't worry about the spots.
