baby RBTA question

Hey Everyone....

I have several BTAs (RBTA, GBTA, and Speckled GBTA) and they all intersect and meet at one point. When lights go out, and they shrink up a little, I also have a tiny baby RBTA (size of a penny) that is in between two of the GBTAs... Right now, when fully inflated, it's kinda, well underneath the edge of the speckled GBTA....

Long story short, it's attached the rock and hasn't moved since it was introduced this Tuesday. Do I move it to a spot where it can actually get to light, or should I just leave it be and let it move on its own?

I'm thinking the latter but wanted to get confirmation from the group... I figured, it it isn't happy, it will move itself.

Thanks for the advice!

Well, either the baby RBTA is moving or its shriveling up to nothing. I just saw it an hour ago and it was its normal size, now it's just a meer half of its size and huddling under the speckled GBTA.... oh well we'll see what happens.

It'll know when it needs to move. Mine did the same thing, it sat under a swiftly growing long tentacle and didn't move for two months. It slowly started bleaching out, then seemed to remember that it could move and shuffled over four inches and colored back up.

Yea that's what I figure... It's either unhappy and getting tiny, read to move, or it's just well on the way out. It was a freebie anyways, so no big story.. My speckled GBTA is the prize :-)

So I haven't seen the baby RBTA for two days, but today I got a little treat as I was doing my water change! I noticed something on the sand, all the way down sitting right by the overflow. Low and behold, it was the little RBTA!!!!!

He was almost half way up the tank, so it was quite a journey through the rock work and all the way down to the sand... I'm guessing a RBTA at the size of a penny can't handle being baked by my LEDs, so he's acclimating...

Anyways, excellent day today!
