I have a foxface, a clownfish, small torch, xenia frag, mushroom rock, an acro colony and a montipora digitata colony. I need to take my tank down for a little while. I would say, probably like two months while I do some renovating.

Please let me know if any of you can help.

Thanks,
Mike

Check with me when we get alittle closer, I should be up and running by then and able to get some of my stuff out of my reef tank and make some room for yours.

PS skimmer sems to be working great, its even easier to clean than the old on! tahnks!

Mike,

Not sure if I can hold it all for you, but im sure I can house some of it for you.. Let me know if you need the space.

Actually the sooner the better! If you can take anything, I would appreciate it. I can assure you there is no red bugs or any parasites. Just got these corals from Ocean Blue and corals have had no RTN or anything.

Im sure we can work something out..

Couple of questions... how big are the clown and fox? I have a set of clowns in the 220, so im not sure he can go in there, and I also have a large sailfin and purple tang that might be an issue for the foxface. However I do have another 12G Bowfront that I keep running just in case, that I only keep a couple of damsels in.

My only other concern is that I have never had any acro.. so I assume it would be ok... lol

I have plenty of other stuff that does fine, so I think it will be ok, just not sure.

Jack

The clown is about 2", its a little guy. The foxface is about 3.5".

I don't have high flow and my acro does fine...but I do have dual 250W HQI halides.

I would not recommend the clown with the others you have, Jack, as it may screw the pair up and the lady is a little fiesty. I put another clown in with them once and they stressed it bad. I also would not recommend any fish with damsels, those vicious creatures. JMHO.

By the way, how are the clowns doing?

Someone please come get these corals. Whoever gets them is more than welcome to cut themselves a frag. :D

I just want to get this tank taken down a lot sooner than I had initially planned.

Mike

Mike,

Bring it on... We can put the clown in the 12 if that is ok with you, we cna put the fox in the 220 and see how he does..

I would say tonight, but I have class until atleast 8:30... your more then welcome to bring them after that... or tomorrow...

What works for you?

I hold what ever you need... no problem.. Just hope I don't kill anything... LOL All kidding aside it should be fine..

Hmm, tonight would be sweet! I know I am going to dinner at 6:30 then I have to run out to my grandparents to see them. But maybe after that?! I will PM you my info and I will call you tonight.

Thanks man!

Mike

Clowns are doing great!! I have two anemones in the tank, I LARGE long tentacle and a RBTA. The female has claimed the long tent, and the mail claimed the RBTA..

Its pretty funny, the female will go over and get in the RBTA with the male, but the male won't get into her Long Tent..

I think if the RBTA was larger they would both be in that one.

I'm not too sure about that. They are a weird pair...I think she likes her space. How often does she go over to the RBTA? About 2 times a month for an extended period maybe? I'm sure she goes and bugs him all the time, I think that is her way to keep him on his toes for when they lay eggs to make sure he will protect the young. They have unique behavior's for clowns, but they are still most definitely a pair. I love that; they have their own homes but still know what's up. Have you seen any signs of mating? I could never find the eggs, but their patterns showed every sign. The mushroom rock was pretty covered and I would see the male ducking under the shrooms at certain times of the month. I'm sure the reson the occ is not in the LTA is because she claimed it early on...:) She's a brute, but I could always tell that they loved each other.
