im bidding on this on reeffarmers hopefully ill have a frag soon but its gonna take a while to grow out but when it dose if you want a frag ill see what i can do if i win it its at 120 at the moment

don't get it via reeffarmer....you are paying for pure hype and demand and trying to bid against others who have really deep pockets. really big waste of money IMO.
instead try to find a person with it in the lps forum, PM them and look into purchasing a frag pack from that person to make it worth it for them to have to pack it all up and ship it. yeah, it could be expensive to get a frag pack w/ shipping, but maybe several locals can split up the costs to make it worth it. then ya'll can grow the frags out and trade them around over time.
that is the way to do it while keeping the cost down.
don't buy from these mega online frag stores. most of them don't even have their stock colony anymore....but still show waiting lists on their webpage for a particular coral they don't even have anymore...lol. i.e. reefread.y and exotic.frags.
neither of those places keep stock colonies for most of the things they have (unless its uber rare and they don't want many people to have it...that way they control the market and keep the demand for it high) (i.e. exoticfragss has the original mummy eye chalice colony...but you'll never see it for sale on their site). they just wait until the local california farmers market convention and then buy buy buy from locals, hall all their booty back home, then update their stocks on their webpage and mark up the price 150% accordingly from what they bought it at the frag convention.
i know the guy who owns exoticfrag-s, and thats pretty much how his operation works as well as the other online frag stores that are based out of california.
