So I remember the Euro Brace now... I had a 75 Gall Hex... never got it buolt that had euro brace... access to the top seems like it would be easier, but there is pleanty of room especially with 4 doors on my canopy.. I could lift the lid, but it's really heavy with the light fixture hanging from it.

Some coral/fish updates... no pics yet, but I'll get some soon:

I have a shelving acro, a maze brain, and some Paly tree (i think Clove) polyps.

My Monti shelving out very nicely... but have some cyno on the substrate which is reallt sticky and I really need to get some more flow in those areas.... and probably reduce my feeding a bit.

I did break down and buy a new Kole Tang, but I bought it from a store that qts for at least 2 weeks and treats their fish systems with a slew of preventatinve medications... He has been in for weeks and seems pretty healthy.. Even eats Marine Cuisine, Brine and Marine Flake... I also give him seaweed every other day... All of my food except the flake I soak in Garlirc Power (Brightwell) for 5-10 mins and dump the enitre contents in so it doses with gralic as well... All seems to be good... except for the cyno.

Okay here is the update on the RODI top off System. I decided to do 2 chambers... one for mixed salt and one for fresh. The mixed salt will just be filled by a powerhead. I have also decided since I am putting holes in the wall and tranching to the sewer clean out for the waste water, I would go ahead and plumb to be able to set a power head inside the tank and run a hose into a drain line to empty the tank for water changes as well... I'm really getting sick of carrying four 5 gallon bukets across the house and dumping it into the toilet. Anyways... here are some pics of the stand I build for the system... I built it higher up because I need to keep my cat litter box under neath it.

I have lots of Update pics... I miss talking about it... so I will get some up here soon... Everything is doing great... getting very nice grow out on my Monti and Acros... My GSPs are going crazy as well... Only problem ive had is after a major sump clean out I got a brown and cyno spike.. but it has since receeded... but I think I might have lost my Purple Gorg ... Update pics to come....

Thank you, I will be posting some update shots soon....

Oh and the purple gorg is back and healthy... just had diatoms all over it, the tank needed to work through a mini cycle.

Sump Failure and Redesign

When I was installing the water top off and changer, I was using a cheap (non diamond hole saw) bit and cracked the old sump and made a big mess, so the following is a complete redesign...My intention was to maximize the surface area of the rubble LR I was using in the sump and also not disturb the sandbed when I needed to grab a rock or two.
