Back again

Hello all. My name is Jerry, I'm 64 years old, recently retired and getting back into the hobby. I joined RC about a year ago and was very active the first year and due to major life changes was out of the hobby for a year. I had to get rid of my starter tank, a 75 gallon mixed reef. I now have the time to devote to starting over with a new tank, which I should receive next Thursday. Patience has not always been my strongest point. I got in too much of a hurry with my first tank and at the end of about 18 months things went sour. I ended up tearing my tank down, getting rid of the tank and the small amount of live items that were left so I could relocate from Maumelle. I am looking forward to getting back into the hobby.

Welcome back and congratulations on retirement! I wish I could retire and reef all day long, even if it is just starring at the tank. Remember patience is the key to success in this hobby.

welcome back! i have a year on you, just turned 65, and thinking seriously about retirement. i have a 75g mixed reef that's been up and running for almost 2 years and i've been thinking with retirement, i *could* upgrade to a 120. just haven't talked myself into it yet.

there's nothing like reefing to teach patience. i am not a patient person so it's been challenging. LOL
