my super lfs gave me a mantis today

its about an inch long, brownish red, with a white meral spot, so i figure its a N. Wenn Bredini..

now to figure out how to get some genetic material from it and where do i find a lab to test it...

at an inch long i dont think my cleaners are in trouble yet, now i need to find some mini food for it.

i would try live brine shrimp, mysis, or shrimp pellets

it took nearly a month for the lfs to find it in the virtually empty tank they stored it in, and now that its in my tank, i dont really expect to see much of em for a long while... ill get pics when it decides to start exploring.

hahaha. I bought this tiny mantis shrimp <1" and bought this little tank to go with it. they gave me the mantis fro free for buying the tank. I got a small rock in there and guess what hitchhiked. Another mantis. I had the pics, but moved files from one comp to this one and it got lossed, but I had a great pic of them together. Yep, Whenever he starts movin around lets see some pics.
