debating on the skimmer. have narrowed it down but its a size difference of footprints to see how much room the sump will need. debating on a 10"x7" footprint one and a small one with 7"x4.25" footprint. want the bigger one obviously but i need to be talked into just getting what i need and having probably 3 extra inches for refuge and return chambers. or what yall think ?

Dude i am in the same boat as you. I am in the middle of buying a sump/refuge and I have been having trouble deciding on the skimmer chamber size over the refuge so I am curious to see what others have to say on this thread.
