All the frags I brought up from home during Thanksgiving.

Tomorrow's the day things get serious! I man from the Pittsburgh reef club is coming to Morgantown for the game and he is bringing me a frag pack of sps!!!

He made me a great deal 10 frags for $100. From what I have seen they are really nice and include a lot of ORA frags from his display.

Aquadelight
ORA Pearlberry -
ORA Birds of Paradise
Alabama Blue Tort
ORA Green Birdsnest
Purple Stylo
Green Hydnophora
Golden Birdsnest
ORA Tricolor Valida0
Idaho Grape Monti

Also got a lot finished today. I finished my new sump with a fuge and installed it with a five gallon water change. The UPS man brought me another coralvue pump. That makes two at 1200GHP giving me 2700gps turn over with return! And added some active carbon and phosphate remover to the sump!

Will update pics tomorrow.

Really good deal, did you use anything to cycle the tank, it doesn't look like it has even began a cycle?

I really hope it works out for you man, it looks like those pics you posted on 16th the tank doesn't have any fish in it. Keep us posted.

One week with sps update!

Everything is looking great! Aside from the Algae outbreak on the sand.
Anyone got any ideas on this algae I don't think it's red slime or normal hair algae. Its long and stringy and grows extremely fast on the sand no place else. I have been running phosphate remover for about a week now.

ph 8.2
ca 435-450 ppm
dkh 3.5 meq/L
ammonia 0

Looks like cyano to me. How much flow do you have? Lots of flow is one way to battle it.

BTW, Corals and rockwork both look great.

Yea I have a ton of flow close to 70x tank turn over per hour. Two 1200 gph pumps in the tank + return pump.

Are they positioned to where any of the flow would be contacting the bottom? I had some cyano in my 30G, adding flow helped, then redirecting helped even more.
