Back In The Hobby After 2 Years...Stoked!!

Im finally back in the game after some disapointing events. Had to give up my 200g and then a year later had to give up my 120g and I pretty much threw in the towel after that. (girls:headwally So recently I took over my pops tank and have been working on it for about 2 months now. Needed A LOT of work...and I mean A LOT. To the point where he was gonna give it up. So with many hours into this already Its looking pretty promising. Just glad im back in the hobby and getting it started again.

heres what it is so far.... Red Sea Max 34g modified.
150w 14k MH
About 60+lbs of Live rock
40+lbs of live sand
same return pumps (stock)
cpr bakpak skimmer air stone moded with chetto in the return chamber with hang on light.
Super Luft pump for the air stone


Always adding new things every week.

Still needs a lot of work but Im getting there. If anyone is near Glendora 626 area that has frags FS please pm me. Id love to get some color in this tank!!

I do have an Aptasia Problem hence the copper band in there but hes not doing shi*. Any suggestions?? Theres also 4 peppermints in there :/

Will Copperbands go after aiptasia that large in size? I was just talking to Bullitr and he swears by injecting kalkwasser paste directly into them

Be patient with the peppermint shrimp! Some people say its hit or miss but iv had luck 3 times in one tank! Introduced new rocks and I added 2 peppermint shrimp I was worried my pistol shrimp killed them off turns out the clicking at night had stopped I check out the tank and found both peppermint shrimp where still alive and eating the aptasia but never saw my pistol shrimp again...but when the shrimp get hungry I think theyl have no choice but to go after the aptasia

I keep seeing people suggest filefish for aptasia, though I don't have personal experience with them. I also don't know their tank size requirements.
