back lit off?

I have had my AC2 for 2 years or so but just recently got a bacaklit model. Can the back lit light be turned off? If it stays on will the light burn out after a given amount of time like any othe bulb? If i can turn it off how so.

No, there is not a way to shut the light off. The light source is an LED, and should last 10s of years before. We've been selling controllers for 10 years now, and have not had a single backlit led burn out. It is not something that you need to work about.
