Back up air pumps?

How many of these do you think it would take to keep a 55 gallon tank running?

I keep one for every two feet of tank and none in my fuge/sump.

Yah... Probably about two.
tough to say though. Depends on the load.

I would definately go with 2 IME, and if its a fuge ya, one down there too, unless you dont care if pods/critters sufficate or not

If for a day, the one in the fuge isnt necessary. If more, it becomes a good idea.HTH.
