Backdrop color for photographing fish?

I am seting up a small specimen container for photographing fish and am trying to decide on what color would be best for the background.

I am thinking black, or white. What do you think?

I like black for fish pictures. It really makes the colors pop.

anything dark. I actually prefer a ver dark blue, but black is the easiest and always looks good. white will make the colors on your fish look washed out.

I just use photoshop to add a black backround.

besides you will miss out on all the cool barnacles and worms growing on the back of the tank
