Background?

My tank is a room divider making it hard to take photos from many angles. I have been toying with the idea of a screen that I can hang on the oposite side from the one I'm shooting at.

Would it be best to make this black or blue? Or another colour?

I'm thinking black would be best, but unsure.

Personally I like black myself. It creats a lot of contrast and really allows the colors to pop. Anyway, it should be super simple to try different colors. Just buy some oaktag (sp?) from a craft store (or matboard - a little stiffer but a little more exoensive). You can just tape it to the side opposite from where your shooting. Unless your doing a full tank shot you don;t even need a big piece (though mat board typically comes in sheets that are 2'x4').
