Backlit Question

I am interested in getting a ACjr and was wondering about the backlit option. Does the backlit stay on all the time? The unit will be in my bedroom with the and was wondering how bright it is.

Yes, the backlight stays on all the time. It is not super bright - just enough to be able to read the display easily.
