Bacterial infection

So I ordered 3 carberryi anthias from liveaquaria and apparently they all arrived with a bacterial infection of some sort. They all had red lesions on their sides and 2 out of 3 are already dead.

what is the best treatment for such a thing like this? Right now I am using instant ocean's lifeguard treatment as it says it's a broad spectrum anti-bacterial medication, but it doesn't seem to be doing much for the fish. Thank goodness I put these guys into quarantine!! I already got my money back for the 2 dead fish, but it's still sad as these really are beautiful fish.

Here's a picture of the one dead one with the lesion. I don't want to shove a camera in the face of the other live one as it gets scared easily and I think stress will just make it worse.

I will try that next time as it seems whatever I used did nothing. My last anthias died today. I will order 3 more, but if the same thing happens, I will ask them to credit my credit card so I can go to the LFS and get a different kind of anthias... I'm bummed

any other suggestions for treating bacterial infections that have been successful for others?

Metronidazole worked wonders for me. My green chromis had the exact same lesions and the metro cleared it right up.
