Bad Bubble Algae Situation

I have a ton of green bubble algae in my mantis tank, He will eat any emerald crab he sees and he patrols his home often.

Is there any way I can rid this stuff?

I manually remove it from the rocks.
If you do it often enough you should be able to control it.

Make sure your water is clean (no phosphate, nitrate etc)

Jam the clear shell of one of those cheap bic pens in some flexible tubing and you've got a great tool for sucking up the bubble algae. Works great when doing a water change. Even if you break the bubbles when siphoning, most of the spores are going to get sucked into your bucket rather than being dispersed throughout the tank.
