bad copepods/amphipods?

probably a small isopod, looks kinda like a potato bug?

I had one attach to the face of a small scooter dargonete. It detached after a few days.

i would get it off right away. Those things are bad news- kill it.

And be careful, my buddy got bit by one from his tank. He took it off the fish and was holding it in his hand when it bit him.

good luck

they are eating holes in the fish ? wow a big wrasses i guess !
naw really i would purchase a 3" melenarius wrasse and he should make quick work of your problem .
do you have a reef or fish only as there are many others that would also help you out .

wrasseman,

FOWLR. I need a hardy guy who likes to swim thru smaller caves and crevaces. I have a ton of rockwork that has holes all through it.

any coris wrasse will be a good canidate but the yellow coris wrasses seem to be very hardy . there is an australian rainbow coris wrasse that is tough as nails and would work great . i have one and he is a very good tank mate and very hardy too .i would stay away from flashers and fairys as they wont do much "work" for you in this situation . leopard wrasses will eat them but they are tough in the begining because they need pods which you have and that may work but they acclimate poorly . i hope that gives you some direction and there is certainly a wrasse for that job ,,i would go for a coris wrasse myself. keep us posted please and good luck .
