Bad DC8 for Neptune ACJR controller

I purchased a DC8 from Marine Depot 2 weeks and 1 day ago. This morning, everything was off. The green light on the DC8 flashes when I send a command from the controller but won't turn anything on. I have all 8 plugs set to manual (ON) but nothing works. I reset the controller to factory default, unplugged and replugged both the controller and DC8 several times but nothing will result to power from any of the 8 plugs. Of course, after my purchase, I read the return policy on Marine Depot website it states they will not accept any returns unless its unopened. What can I do about this bad DC8?
