Hello fellow reefers. Sorry for the misleading title but I wanted people to read it.
I have to give my LFS much respect. Tonight I picked up a clam that I placed on hold on monday. This clam was in the display tank for two days before I placed it on hold without any deposit. I have read numerous threads where other people's LFS will not put something on hold even with a deposit.
Now that is not the best part. On Tuesday I had to call him up to give me some advice. After we talked, he told me that he has gotten a couple of offers on the clam, 80 dollars, that is 30 more than what it was listed at. He did not sell it to that person. Well I go in tonight and he asks if I am going to take it home tonight, well I say yes I will take. Apparently there was a waiting list about 10 people long, and numerous offers if I didnt take it.
The clam is in my tank now and I will post a picture as soon as I can get a top down shot.
Well my point if there is a point: There are great LFS's out there you just have to look. And if you are in Albuquerque NM Visit them. Click my red house and you can see their website and address.
