Bad News (fish)

Sorry to say, That I lost my Bat Fish yesterday. It lasted 2 weeks in my tank. Not sure what happend, arrived home and he was just setting on the bottom of tank, still breathing. Tried to feed, vary little response. Did a water change, he responded a little by swimming a little and eating a bit, thought he was out of the woods. By the time I went beg he was back to just setting on the bottom, still breathing, by morning he had expierd. Not sure what went went wrong. But deffinatlly a sad day.

Sorry to hear that! Did you test your water to see if you have any parameters out of whack? If they all check out, then it could have just been too much stress for the fish since its capture.

All checked out good, But going to take a H2O sample to CRA just to make sure.

All elsa in tank seem to be ok, Dwarf Lion and marid blenny and all corals seem to be doing vary well. On that note so did the Batfish the night before his downfall.

From everything I've read, batfish are just really tough to keep. I read that one guy who is now keeping one successfully said that he went through 5 of them before he got one to live. :eek1: They are beautiful though. Sorry about the loss.
