Just got my Apex about two weeks ago and have been seeing crazy results (not too crazy but much different than my old reef fanatic module and my AC Jr the Apex replaced).
on my old units my pH would basically rise throughout the day and peak then slowly drop over night always seemed pretty normal.
on this Apex it kinda follows that same curve but it will jump up and down during the process. overall the "curve" of the rise and fall of the pH throughout the day seems kinda normal but it has "mini spikes" that occur during the process.
for example at one point my pH read 8.35 10 minutes later it read 8.53 then 10 minutes later it sat at 8.42 imo there is no way the pH could change this quickly and I also believe there is no way my tank is running at 8.53 it has in the past been lucky to ever reach 8.3
anybody have any idea what is going on?
