bad pic but could anyone tell me what this is

i seen that my frogspawn 7 candycane were not doing good,i took them out and put them in a big bowl of tank water and picked it up and shook it in the water and these things fell off of both of them,they are alive,pic coming up

Perhaps brighter, closer, and better focused? Perhaps someone else would have a more accurate input, but from my viewpoint it's vague. It could be detrius, or it could be a massive swarm of red flatworms... could be something else all together.

well thats the best pic my cam will do,but they are light brown in color the size & shape of the little sprinkels the bar shape ones not the round ones,and they dotn swim they stayed at the bottom of the bowl even when i poured the water out

your right that pic mim put up through me off but by looking at a pic of them on the LR it looks like rust could that be what on my sand bed to? i seen a pic of a makeshift hose with a carbon bag tied at the endof it to suck em out then to put the flatworm exit in the tank,where do i get that skinny thing that fits on the hose to suck them out with,it looks like something the dentist use,

If you're talking about the thing from melev's reef, it's a product he purchased. I'm sure a section of hard airline tubing would work for the purpose, if you chose to improvise a setup of your own.
