Bad Skimmer Pump

Ordered a skimmer from this company,had a bad pump.Was giving the run around by Aquacave.Told me that pump was fine when it wasnt.Buyer Beware.
 
I am getting the run around from them right now on some light bulbs and am not very happy with their customer service thus far. I am waiting to see how it gets resolved before I really start some flaming threads.
I got 2 400 watt 10k Ushios and both were broke on arrival. The box was perfect and they were well wrapped. 4 other actinic t5 bulbs in same box were fine. I think they were broke in aquacaves warehouse before being shipped.
So far I was first told to send them back (Ihad already e-mailed pics of box bulbs etc. with no reply) when I protested he begrudgingly agreed to send me some out that afternoon with an agreement that I would send back the old ones so he could make sure that I wasnt sending him pictures of old used bulbs.
After a week with no contact or e-mail I called back yesterday and he says they were out of stock and that they were being sent to me direct from the supplier that he would check and then send me an e-mail with confirmations etc. Again almost another 24 hours and I have heard nothing.
I will keep EVERYONE posted on the outcome!

He flat out told me there was nothing he was going to do,and is shipping the skimmer back.Poor customer relations from this company.I would not buy anything from them.His attitude toward me was bad.It's a shame too,we the consumers keep this company's thriving but yet they don't care.Oh well,lesson learned for sure on this end.Just say no to AQUACAVE.COM!
 
well he did call me in the afternoon after I posted but he said they were out and the manufacturer or distributor was sending them from Tennesee then I get e-mails from aqua cave that they were being shipped from their location after doing nothing for a week. Now this afternoon in anticipation of my new 10k bulbs coming I got out the 2 24" t5 coralvue fixtures that I bought from them in this same shippment and neither one of them will fire? I hope it is just me and something I have not done burt I wonder? They were in plain brown boxes no paper work or instructions at all. The picture they have on their site shows a switch on the cord but these guys have no switches at all? I hate the thought of having to start trying to e-mail or call again about another problem from them!
 
Yeah, I don't know what's going on at Aqua Cave. My last order was lost. I then called and discussed what had happened. They offered 2 day shipping and I had requested USPS due to it being a Friday and USPS runs on Sat. and would arrive on Monday. I then get a email saying that UPS was the shipper. In my book that's two strikes. I'm not sure I'll order again.

thank goodness it was just me and both units of t5 (all 4 bulbs) fired up so I am waiting on replacement 400w 10ks ... I will keep you posted
