Bad Vibrations

I have a 24 G nano cube and I needed a bit more flow. I put a rio 800 Hyperflo in the third chamber and put the stock pump with a hydroflo head on the back wall. Plenty of flow. My problem now is my peaceful and QUIET tank now has noise. The rio makes some noise, any ideas on how to limit that?
The suction cups do not fit in the chamber so a stuffed the area around it with sponge matter.
I also read that you need to remove the intake cover, I never found it, does this Intake cover exist? any ideas on how to remove it?
Thans....

Rio pumps are loud thats a fact.

The impeller inside of these pumps arent well constructed and the tend to bounce around more then just spin. I gave all my rio pumps away. I couldnt bare sell them.

I had a good experice with the big model Rio I think it was the 16H or something like that. That one ran like a champ.

I know Tunzes are coming out with a nano powerhead and Im sure it will be dead quite...MJ are ok if you modd them. But really it all depends how fat ur wallet is.

Myself....My wallet is thin as paper...So I spend alot of time reading and in the DIY forum. If it werent for that Id be out of the hobby saying "fish are wack"

Tunze already has nano powerheads -- they are called the Tunze Mini, and while they aren't as energy saving as the bigger Tunze pumps they are *tiny*. Noise? I let you know when mine arrives.

L2.48 x W2.40 x H1.7 in. for the bigger one at 52.8 - 158.5 US gal./h (11 watts)
L1.7 x W1.69 x 1.65 in. for the smaller one at 39.6 - 79.2 US gal./h (5 watts)
