Saw him cruising along the sand bed of my tank so I snatched him out. Probably 2.5" long and 1/8" around. First worm with the 5 antenna on his head I have seen, thought I read that euncid worms have 5 antenna?

Rock is a mix of figi/tonga/marshall so its pretty hard to say where it came form

Agreed, most likely a Eunicid sp. and probably best to remove it as they have been known to cause problems as they grow in size. One of the very few worms that I would say such a thing about, all others that are commonly found as hitch hikers will most likely be important members of the clean up crew.

Thanks Chuck!

I forgot all about my crab picture that I let you use, and just saw it on your site... that little guy is still hanging out in my refugium, still is tiny maybe 1/2" across. As for the worm, he is somewhere on his way to Lake Erie by way of the local sewer system.
