I got an acro in a couple of days, from a shipment. It spent a couple days in a friends holding tank, and when I got it, its pretty badly bleached. Theres still flesh, but it doesnt appear to have all of its polyps. Is there any chance here?

I currenly have it shaded, is there anything else i can do?

I have the little frag that could. he he. Its a chips and came in very badly. I have the dead skeleton glued to a small plug. And only the tip is alive. Id say less then an eigth of an inch. But its doing. Dont know how fast the chips grows but I can only hope.

If you see ANY recession, then frag only the surviving pieces. Otherwise it will get better but will take some time. If it is truly bleached, color will come back. If it is dead, I would just frag it off. JMO.

just be patient. good things happen to people who wait. But if it does start to necrose then either frag and pray or try shocking it by putting it straight into another tank. I have had both work for white band. So good luck.
