Baggi Survival Rate

First I am not attempting to breed it just happened.
But extra fish could be a bonus.

I currently have a male about 10 days in.
I am wondering what the survival rate would be if I were not to change anything in my normal tank continue with my every other day feedings (mix of krill, plankton, mysis, and alge (tangs)).Also since I also have a Porc Puffer, Huma Trigger, and Lunare Wrasse, wonder if any will make it.

The survival rate will be 0! Once they come out of papa they are goners with those tank mates and without food. There are several good sites with details on raising Banggers, if you want to put in the time it can be done. Otherwise, consider them live food for the tank.

If you have a sump and can put the male in there before he releases... Otherwise byebye "little zebras".

I need to take the male out before he spills out his babies. I took mine out on the 18th and put him in a 10g nano tank. You also need to prepare some BBS

That was my first batch. there were about 40-45 but only 10 survived after a year. i have 2 pairs from that first batch are now holding babies.

My first brood of Bangaii's managed to catch 3 were raised in a breeders net hung on the side of my display tank with a little green sprig of macroalgae for them to hide in.

I found this quite fine for raising them, all feed from the start on baby brineshrimp and only lost 1 after moving to my breeding setup approximately 6 weeks later due to a trip to the sump.
Feeding 4-5 times daily which IMO fed the male up enough to allow him to carry the next batch to full term spitting out 10 of which I managed to catch.

These were transfered to my breeding setup about 4 days later.
Same technic and raised all ten.

Next mating male ate the eggs within 24 hours.

New batch as of tonight in his mouth, Male has not carried eggs to term from about 2 months but lately I have been feeding him up and hoping that he will carry this lot to term.
