Bak Pak 2 filter media

I've got a bak pak 2 skimmer on my 30 gal with 20 gal sump and don't have any filter media for that side of the skimmer. What do you suggest? I was thinking of getting ceramic type instead of the bio bale media that comes with them.

Which do you suggest or is there something else that would be better?
