I am curious if there is anyway to estimate the amount of CO2 released when "desicating" baking soda? Could it be at harmful levels? My dog started flipping out (which is extremely unusual) when I began cooking the stuff for the 3-part Ca/Alk/Mg homemade recipes. I can't imagine any other sort of gas that would arise from cooking baking soda on aluminum foil that might cause such a reaction. It was the damndest thing...
Perhaps my dog is just a schizophrenic or my oven is haunted, but I doubt you can help out with those problems.
