I have to new little hitch hikers. I have been watching then for a month or so. I did extensive research on the internet and turned up very little on them. I did find enough info to correctly id them, but not enough to fully understand them. I also found very few images of them. The pics I did find were usually top down views of their central disks. I am going to try to attach some of my own pics to help others id these little gems. I have witnessed mine chowing down on a very small unlucky cerith snail but little else. I think these are a variety of mushroom according to several aquaria internet pages, but I am open to more info about them. If you have any experiences with them, or know about these beauties, please post and share. I am trying to learn as much as I can about them. I have no interest in removing them from my tank at this time as the general consensus is that they are harmless detrivores.
