Ball is rolling quickly!! Progress Thread

Yep, bubble algae.
Best way is to remove the rock from the water and pick all the bubbles off. Try not to pop them like Scott said, or they'll release thousands of spores which will create more bubble algae.

Here's another shot of my tank and new critter that I found when I was messing around with the tank. I was switching LR around from the tank/rubbermaid. THe rubbermaid had dead LR (macro) in there that I need to cure.

The rock arrangement will change again down the road but in what way? Who knows? :D

New critter!

FTS. Algae!! I need the turbos from RJC :D It's my fault cause I haven't done enough of water changes. I did one today though.

Yep, looks like star polyps. They will grow like weeds, you might want to isolate the rock, in case you don't want them all over the tank.

I had to look up what star polyp will really look like since mine's bleached, probably from lack of light. It was almost underside of this LR. I'd like to have this for awhile :D

What is their method of propagation? Slowly spread outward? Breaking off a piece?
I'd assume that this will spread outward and possibly a piece breaking off from something bumping into it?
