ballast repairs?

ive got a reef fanatic e-ballast that tries to fire a bulb and then cant then tries again and bulb will stay lit a bit longer then goes out then tries to fire again, ect. till the bulb will finaly stay lit.

Almost like it needs to warm up because it has an open in it. Does anyone work on this type of stuff? I'm going to peek inside to see whats going on with it but thought maybe someone localy fixes these things?

Are the bulb and the ballast rated for the same wattage?

yes they are matched

check with the manufacturer to see if this is a known problem---some ballast/bulb combos just dont work--ie icecap ballasts and xm de bulbs
