Balling method

What does this method consist of?

same like two part but it uses low salt, salt.

what that means is you use a salt mix that has lower levels of sodium chloride so that when you use calcium chloride and sodium bicarbonate to maintain your calcium and alk levels, they wont constantly raise your salinity.

at least thats what i understood from what i read.

You also use a 2 part magnesium salt also (1 part Magnesium Sulphate, 8 parts Magnesium Chloride)

That is the worst article pertaining to our hobby I have read to date. It does a great job as to explaining exactly what the "balling method" really is. :rolleye1:

....the only thing I got out of it was to use their dosing pump to add Ca alk and Mg.
