Bam-Bam's not opening up?

I have a small colony of bam-bam's that I have had now for a few months, and over the past 3 to 4 weeks they have not been opening up. All other zoanthids in the tank are doing great (even some on the same rock), just not the bam-bams. Any suggestions? I had even fragged off a few polyps after getting the colony and they stopped opening up about the same time. Are these just more finicky than other zoos, or what can I do to get them back to the beautiful orange that they used to be?

they some times do that after fragging... call it trauma and stress they usually open with in a couple days. if there are no predators bothering them or water parameters arent off.

I have not noticed any predators, and the fragging has been about 3-4 weeks ago now. Should I iodine dip them just in case? Or are there certain predators that only go after one color?

have you been keeping your eye on your parameters? mine did this when i was having alk swings.
sometimes zoas stay closed up to help them expel junk. when i got my purple hornets and they stayed closed up for more than a month.
if you fragged them it might take a few weeks them to get back to normal again.

wait it out... as long as thier not melting or shrinking your fine.. had a PPE closed close to a month at one point..
