Has anybody over used the Caribsea Seaflor Special Grade Reef Sand ??

or is this too coarse ?

Too course. sharks and rays need super fine sand . It should feel like butter in your hands.

Sand ONLY- must be soft to the touch that grade will be too abrasive

Use sugar-sized or oolitic sand from caribsea.

If you looking at Carib-Sea, check out the "sugar size" aragonite oolite (sp). This sand is very similar to white beach sand, but be aware that powerheads and filter inlets arent too close to the substrate.
