do they eat small fish? can I keep it in a reeftank?

They may eat fish, or they may not. Can't really guarantee anything, but they're on the safer side for an eel that size. What is the smallest tankmate?

You can keep it in a reef provided filtration is adequate, the tank is escape proof, and you don't mind it possibly picking off smaller fish and inverts.

I have some small govies and firefish...the banana that I saw is like 8" , 9"...what u guys think?

Small fish might actually make good meals to an eel that small. It's your call on if you like the eel enough to risk it.
