Banded cat shark fins

Hello I have a banded Catshark that I bought about 3 weeks ago he is eating like a pig and is very active but my blue tang has nipped his tail please help is this life threatening to the shark

I've never had a shark or know much about them so I could be totally wrong but I don't think a little nip from a tang would be life threatening. How big was the bite?

not that bad the tail looks a lil chewed up at the tip
