Banded Pipe Fish??

My LFS has a nice banded pipe fish. Kind of pricey ($45) but it is an amazing looking fish. Need opinions on this fish. I have a 75 gallon tank with about 120lbs of live rock. My stock list is currently:

2 False Perc Clowns
2 Fire fish gobys
1 Black Blenny
1 Royal Gramma
1 Diamond Goby
2 Cleaner Shrimp
3 Peppermint Shrimp (Havent seen them since day one)

My LFS thinks they just feed on pods. I have been wanting a mandarin but will hold off on the pipe fish if you guys think that having 2 fish that live off of pods is too much for a 75 to handle. I do have a fuge with lots of maco and I can always see pods running around in the algae. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks for all the help

I have a bonded pair of banded pipefish in my reef. I made sure they ate mysis before buying them, just incase. They eat pods and such from the rock and glass during the night.

I thought they needed their own tank but my LFS has them in both their 600 gallon reef and their 90 gallon reef without any problems (they say). HMMMM......I guess it will be a gamble

Not a good idea to keep them with clownfish. Gobies are suitable tankmates, but any more aggressive fish is not.
