Banded Serpent Starfish..(picture)

Ok, I've discovered I have some serpent starfish has hitchhikers. I'm not sure how many, but I am positive there are at least two.

I think they are of the 'banded sort'. Last night I saw the arm of one as it was leaving its cave and it seemed to reach about 3-4 inches. Yet still very skinny.

I'm not sure though, all of the banded serpents I seem to see pictures have much larger gaps between bands. Mine also seem much thiner, or maybe they are just juvenile?

As I have not added any fish to my system, should I be cautious in doing so?

Basically, are these a threat in any way or form?Also, do I have a good ID, or is there another species of starfish and I'm crazy?

They live in a 20 gallon, so naturally I am going to have small fish.

Without a better picture it is hard to ID, but does it looks like a harlequin starfish? If so then it should be fine. I purchased one for my wifes tank.

Looks like a banded britlestar to me. Harmless scavenger.

yah, and very common as I understand it.

I got allot of them off of a mushroom rock I got a bit back. He's sticking his arm out to filter the water.
