i am looking to put bangaii cardinals into my 125 tank i have 2 clowns now rbta and some crabs and snails. how many can i put in the tank can i do more than a pair. how many will be the best to put into thew tank

Usually 2 will be your best bet. Sometimes you can start with more than a pair, but I've seen them kill each other in tanks much larger than that. Occasionally, you can get away with two males and a female. The males set up shop at opposite ends of the tank, and the female goes back and forth between them, but, IME, it usually doesn't work.
It's not uncommon for people to start with a lot more, but then once a pair is established, it wipes out the others.
