Hi everyone. 2 weeks ago I added a tank bred bangaii cardiinal to my tank. In the tank I also have a spotted mandarin dragonet who is about 2 inches. The cardinal is still very young, less than 6 months old and I have noticed them pairing up to a certain degree. Does anyone know why? The bangaii and the dragonet are probably the weaker swimmers in the tank with the other fish being 2 false percs and a six line wrasse. Does there swimming ability have anything to do with it, what about the cardinal just being young? Has anyone else noticed anything like this happening in their tank?
