Bangaii With Popeye

I recently purchased a mated pair of bangaii's a week ago.

The male had caught a small case of infection on it's lip. It flared up and is now fading away.
It hasn't eaten since I bought it either because of this.

But it seems that from the infection, pop eye has developed.
The bangaii's left eye started flaring up first, and it's right eye is flaring up now too. And they appear red beneath the skin in between the socket.

I'm not sure what to do to treat it other than water changed.
I am doing a 12/46 gallon water change.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I've had 2 fish get popeye... both i just fed well and it went away withing 1-2 weeks... yours has 2 eyes though so I'm not sure, mine could see the food with their good eye.

It can see, its just not eating though because of the lip fungus. It's even reluctant with live foods.

But I observed it today, and it seems just a little less swollen. So I guess it's healing slowly.

Update on him. His popeye is getting better and so is the infection on his lip.
I really have no clue whats going on with him, he's been getting all sorts of stuff, but it's getting better I think...
