Banggai Breeding

I'm almost positive that my male Banggai is holding eggs in his mouth. He wouldn't eat yesterday for some reason and I got worried. I then noticed that his mouth seems filled with something, but he won't open his mouth and turn the right way for me to see.

I've been reading about raising the fry to try and determine if it's something I want to tackle. The main question I have, is what will I do with these fry if I do manage to raise them? I don't want to start filing my tank with Banggai Cardinals. :spin3:

I'm assuming that I can use one of my 20g long tanks that I use for QT to raise the fry. What is the recommended filtration setup? I'm assuming the normal HOB would suck them up and kill them?

I have one setup for hatching BBS, so I think if I try this I'll need a few more. Has someone went through this that can give me a timeline for how to cycle the BBS? I know they have to be used pretty quickly and don't last long.

If / when I set up a tank to raise the fry, can I just forgo the normal cycle process and just grab some live rock from my sump? I was also thinking of throwing some of those ceramic bio things in my sump awhile and maybe a sponge or something.

So no one has done this before? I'm assuming he is going to spit them out in the next few days and ill be sad if they all get eaten or shredded ny a power head.
