my male has had eggs about 3 times now, and never keeps them more than a couple days, is this normal, and what can i do to get him to keep them full term?

if i cant what can i do with the eggs to get them to hatch,??

i would really like to try and raise the babies..

I swear I am not a stockholder in marinebreeder.org, but check out their site...think my last 4 post have all linked to them.
anyway.....does the male have a calm dark(ish) spot to hang out in? Lots of light on your 125, maybe he feels exposed constantly? Our male is usually found in the darkest lowest traffic area during holding.
Maybe he isn't getting fat enough between holdings? When I was fighting algae through major food witholding, the male seemed to do what yours is doing...except maybe holding for a week prior to swallowing.
Overly active nighttime tankmates apparently cause the male to stress....certain tangs especially I have read. Tang being a ***** all night to the only other fish swimming around may be stressful for the male....I see a tang for your avatar....it looks big, and seems to be looking for someone to harass in 'his' tank. good luck...no one right answer.

nutrition. he needs to be fat fat fat to carry babies for 28 full days with no eating. Feed the crap out of him when he is not carrying. I'm talking two or three times daily. Good quality food! And no stress.

actually i have a ten gallon plumbed into my system under my stand, and the pair are the only fish in it. he always hangs out in the corner under the bulkhead,

i usually only feed them once a day, so i will try feeding them more. i hope i get them to go full term..

one last question could having them in a small 10g tank be the problem as well? or should that be ok for just the pair
