Banghaii cardinals

I have a 65g. with no fish. I would like to start with some Banghii Cardinals. Can you keep more than one, or are they similar to chromis where you start with 5-6 and end up with 1?

From all that I have read/heard you can keep a solo specimen or a mated pair.

I have had two in my tank for a little over a month now with no problems.

I would like to get 2 but worry that if they aren't mates one will kill the other.

if they are not mated one will kill the other one. went throught that problem a week ago. i bought 2 at my lfs and one died the next day. bought another one and that one died the next day. so now i have one in my tank and it is doing very well. i am so sad that i can't have more than one because i wanted a school of them but i found out the hard way that it is not possible

Thanks for your input jenreef. I'll happily settle for just one.

If you do a little research it should be fairly easy to get a pair. I think a small colony is possible too, but the alphas will pick on the others.
