banghi cardinals

I bought 2 wild caught cardinals and the first died and now the second one looks not so good after eating fine for a couple of weeks. the fish are not harrassed and everyone else is fine. I have heard of this happening before.

I would like to get a pair of tank raised cardinals. Does anyone know where?

many of th eonline retailers sell banggai (NOT banghi) cardinalfish.
inlandaquatics.com frequently sells mated pairs, as does oceanrider.com

yeah, keep an eye on the second one, as he/she's likely going down. I had the same thing happen...

Second one died as well. As they are so easy to raise, it seems like there would be more tank raised Banggai Cardinals around. I would think, in general, people would be willing to pay $5 more.

No doubt, especially since the wild caught juvies have such a high morbidity. If you haven't done so, there is a good article linked off of the fish bredding forum on these fish.
