Hello. i wish this is help

The Schooling Bannerfish, also known as False Moorish Idol, or Pennant Butterflyfish has a very elongated white dorsal filament. It has a base color of white with two wide black stripes. The soft dorsal and caudal fins are yellow, pelvic fin is black and there are black marks above the eyes and top of snout. The Schooling Bannerfish are almost identical to the Black & White Heniochus Butterflyfish Heniochus acuminatus. The most distinguishing feature of the Schooling Bannerfish Heniochus diphreutes is its rounder breast and less protruding snout. Schooling Bannerfish are also planktonivores and are reef safe. Members of the Heniochus genera are often called Bannerfish instead of Butterflyfish.
The Schooling Bannerfish may reside in a 125 gallon or larger aquarium with other peaceful fish and others of the same species, if all were introduced into the tank at the same time.

They grow really really fast... mine went from the size of a silver dollar to 6+ inches in less than a year....they swim A LOT. I wouldn't dream of having one in anything less than a 6' tank. Mine was in a 4' tank and managed to jump out, even though there was an eggcrate cover.... it was sitting on top of it, when I found it :(

every fish has there own tastes but mine ate a large brain a scolly and on occasions nips at a stylo and like sdguy said they grow really fast and most important require a lot of swimming room mine is in a 8ft 300 and he uses it all day & night never stops he loves to school with my moorish idol

+1. My pair of bannerfish grew 1/2" during the 6-week quarantine!! They are in my 5' 110g tank and swim back and forth all day long. I agree they should be in a minimum of 6' tank, but I don't have enough room for a 6' tank after my 8' 375g took the entire wall of my family room.

If my pair grow too big for the 110g, I could always put them into the 375g, although I don't think my big French angel is going to like that...

I had one, it was a great fish. Sold it back to the store when I moved.

Now I have a real Moorish Idol, but if I didn't I'd have another heniochus.
