Geez Phong, aren't you IT? I thought you were supposed to be up on all the techie geek stuff?

Nothing says you can't work with a buddy on the entry, and you can also submit more than one.

Maybe you can do your logo in MS Paint, and vectorize it after the fact. There are utilities for that if you don't have access to a full blown program for making vector graphics.

To make this more accessible to everyone, how about letting people use MSPaint, or even digitize or take a photo of a drawing? Not eveyone has PS skills, but people might have good creative skills otherwise. I mean, we're looking for a nice logo, right? Once an awesome design has been chosen, it can probably be re-done in whatever format is needed by someone who is an expert. Otherwise, the contest has been limited to people that have a good idea AND can also use whatever program can create the format. That's like 5 people.

Not in this club. With over 180 members, all living in Silicone Valley, the amount that can produce a vector based drawing is staggering.

Your right though. With CS2's features, it's pretty much a snap to vectorize

i think people can just hand draw a picture, scan it (which many could do, I can for you), and then we'll vectorize and makeamazingerize it.

Do it however you like, just get it vectorize it before submitting it in case there are problems. We are looking for something ready to go out of the gate.
